15 Weeks

I am 15 Weeks today and feeling pretty good. I no longer feel queasy and exhausted all the time. It is kind of nice to have my energy back and feel like myself again. Bambino is about the size of an apple. Funny thing is my tummy is measuring much bigger;) My pants are getting smaller by the day. I am seeing maternity pants in my near future. Yes elastic will be my new best friend. I am not really "showing" but I do have a bump. It is debatable whether it is a beer belly or baby bump. I will post belly pics later on.

The Ultrasound Tech thinks you are a boy. She showed us all the right parts:) We haven't painted your nursery blue just yet. I think we will wait a little while longer.

Dear Bambino

Well Bambino we found out about you on January 13th. Our lives changed for the better that day. Since that Tuesday we have been busy planning for your arrival even though it is a long way off. I have been searching for the perfect crib with the perfect bedding and the perfect wall color. Daddy has been busy searching for an authentic baby baseball jersey. I am not sure what team you will have to cheer for but Daddy will let you know as soon as you arrive. He wants your coming home outfit to be a baseball jersey. Don't worry I won't let him do that to you. Oh and Grandpa already has next year's spring training in Florida planned to include you. If you are a girl, I am sorry. We, mommy, daddy, Grandpa, Grandma, Gigi, Papa, Auntie Dee, Uncle Brown, and cousins Wesy and Gracie, are so excited about you already.

You have been a good baby so far. Please keep up the good work. I thank you for only leaving me feeling like I need to throw up in a trash can a few times at school. I think that would scare all the first graders I teach everyday. You did drain most of my energy for the last 8 weeks but I guess that is alright. You were busy growing from a tiny seseame seed into a lime. That is a lot of growing in just 8 weeks. We got to see how beautiful you were at 8 weeks and then again at 13 weeks. Wow what a difference. You are already the most adorable baby I have ever seen. I will post pictures because when you get older you will NEVER believe that you looked that small.

Bambino it has been a exciting journey so far. I am looking forward to more wonderful conversations with you in the car and laying in bed at night. Those are the 2 places we have our best talks;) I hope our conversations are always this good. Mommy loves you very much! Please don't ever forget that.
