Baby's New Ride

The parents and students in my class threw me surprise baby shower on Tuesday. It was truly special. The kids drew pictures of what they thought the baby would look like and made predictions about how much he would weigh and what we might name him. The scrapbook was great!

Baby Reker got a great new ride... the Bob Revolution stroller. It is an amazing jogging stroller. I was so excited!

I am so thankful for all my wonderful students and parents!

Ultrasound Pictures

Here is how the Bambino has grown.

8 Weeks- you can't really tell there is anything there.

13 weeks- you can make out a baby.

21 weeks- Baby Boy! I love the profile.

OH BOY!

Yes that is right, Baby Reker is a boy! We are super excited. This is me right before we went to the doctors appt. I was so excited I didn't sleep last night.

We went shopping after the doctors appt and bought a few outfits. Chris had a blast picking out lots of baseball stuff. It is all red, white, and blue. But our favorite is the shirt that says "Wrecking Machine." All Chris' nicknames are about the "Reckin Crew" so we thought it would be perfect for the little Reker. Here is a picture of the loot. I will have to shop on my own so the poor kid has something other than baseball attire to wear;)

Nursery Furniture

Here is our nursery furniture. It is Pali Salerno. I am super excited about it. My mom and I are going to paint a changing table/dresser to match the bedding colors. Now we have to find a crib bedding we like!

Popped

Here is my 19 almost 20 week belly picture. All this week I have heard that I really look pregnant now. What do you think?

The kids at school are really cute. They talk to my belly everyday. Most of the kids call the baby Reker Jr. But the best is I had a Kindergartener request we name the baby Aqua Marine. Hmmm something to consider;)

We have a mover and shaker- 18 weeks

I am beginning to feel the baby move. The poking started last week but I wasn't really sure what was going on. Now I know:) Baby Reker is rolling and poking around my tummy every afternoon. She/he doesn't like me sitting down. That is when I feel the movement the most. It is a very awesome feeling!
